In September, the Muslim Council of Britain are organising a nationwide Visit My Mosque (VMM) programme. https://vmm.mcb.org.uk/ This is a good opportunity to organise a party from your church to visit a local mosque.
What will people say? Collectivist cultures, like those from which our Muslim neighbours come, prioritize the needs, goals, and harmony of the group over individual desires. Thus, in big decisions the phrase “what will people say?” is very meaningful. This is especially so in making any counter-cultural decisions, like in matters of faith.

Prayer Connections - an update from the network
This month our #Lovefast campaign has encouraged many to join with other Christians and engage with prayer for Muslims during Ramadan. At a time when usual connection isn’t possible, PRAYER has still been at the heart of what we can do to reach out to others. This month’s update includes some of the ways this time has led to new breakthroughs and connections.
We’re facing the realities and uncertainties of the current situation but we look to him with eyes of faith. Even when we don’t see it he’s working - may we be ready to join him in the new thing he’s doing (Is 43:19). Continuing the theme of last month’s update, here from across the network are more possibilities emerging and initiatives being taken.

Connection and being linked together online is continuing to allow the work of Mahabba to thrive, despite these challenging times.
