Update #22 for APRIL from the Mahabba Network
Whilst some may be looking forward to a haircut this coming Monday, there is a much greater significance to the date for Muslims as Ramadan begins!
The holy month of fasting runs from 12th April to 12th May and it’s an incredible opportunity for us to focus on praying for Muslims in our nation and across the world.
Do our Muslim friends look forward to Ramadan?
Can we talk to them about why they follow this practise, or even celebrate this special time with them?
How might we take this opportunity to pray for Muslims around the world?

Some Muslims commemorate the descent of the earlier holy books during Ramadan, including Nazūl-i-Taurāt (Descent of the Torah), Nazūl-i-Injīl and Nazūl-i-Zabūr (Descent of the Psalms).

A Call To Pray Together Through Ramadan
Throughout this month we will be gathering weekly on Friday evenings at 7pm for prayer over Zoom.
We will also have a special night of prayer on Saturday 8th May, 8-9pm for the Muslim ‘night of power’.
