The people & groups of Mahabba Network
Who's who in Mahabba is ultimately about Christians in local prayer groups, building relationships and sharing Jesus where they are. To resource and support them in that and to facilitate growth locally and as a Network, we have a Steering Team. This is made up of individuals representing the following sub -groups; Connect, Governance, Resources, Sharing Faith. These teams provide ways for the Network to connect, pray and grow.
Connect Team – keeping us connected as a Network through online meetings & in person visits.
Governance Team - trustees who keep the cogs turning within the charity.
Prayer Team – regular opportunities to pray together online and on special events.
Resources Team – curate a wealth of online content about sharing faith with Muslims.
Sharing Faith Team – stimulate the Network in sharing faith naturally.
Local Mahabba groups
There are around 40 groups dotted around the UK, each with its own “local coordinator” who acts as the point-person who brings people together for prayer and action. The local coordinator is first port of contact if you want to get in touch with the nearest group to you. The coordinator leads the Mahabba group, coordinates its different activities, and relates with local church leadership. These coordinators are supported by the Connect Team.
Find out where your local group is and get in touch.
The Hub
“The Hub” is an office, which acts like a junction-box for connecting the Mahabba Network.
When you get in touch via the website or social media, you will most likely encounter someone in The Hub.
The Hub handles the day-to-day admin, communications, finance and fundraising. It also relates closely to local Mahabba group coordinators and the functional teams.
NETWORK TEAM
The Network Team is the leadership team, which is comprised of a Regional Facilitator from areas around the UK. The Facilitators provide, information, assistance and support to the local Mahabba groups in their area.
Currently there are twelve spheres of operation, including the country of Scotland; England South West & Wales; England – North, West, East, South, and greater London, Manchester and Birmingham.
