An answered prayer

Members of the Mahabba Network have been praying for a lady who had lost 5 babies and was pregnant with the 6th. We’re delighted to celebrate the successful delivery of a baby girl who is now 2 months old. Do pray for more answers to prayer like this one amongst refugees and asylum seekers.

Face to face

We are celebrating the success of our face-to-face gathering that happened last week in Birmingham. Around 30 people joined us in person and through Zoom. Our guest speaker was AJ, a background Muslim believer who is in involved in cross-cultural work in Birmingham. He encouraged us by talking about his journey to faith. We discussed Mahabba’s core principle of collaborative leadership, which prioritises the empowering of local groups across the country. These grassroot groups are praying for, engaging with and talking about Jesus with the Muslim communities on their doorsteps. It was a time to seek God together, looking to Him for guidance and seeing Mahabba as a nimble network that is responsive to the Spirit’s leading in each locality.

More help

We are delighted to have invited a new volunteer to the Promo Circle who is going to be responsible maintaining our presence on social media. Do pray for her as she represents us in these spheres and for Mahabba members to feed her information to share. We are always looking for more volunteers, so if you think you could give some time to Mahabba to support us with admin and publicity please do get in touch – hello@mahabbanetwork.org
